A walk around the streets and buildings well known to our Tudor forbears, a tale of princes and earls, privateers and merchants, war and trade. Hear about Tudor spys, Will Shakespeare, tricky lawyers, foreigners and aliens. Led by Dr Cheryl Butler this free walk departs from outside Tudor House Museum, St Michaels Square, Bugle Street, Southampton and takes approx. an hour and a half. 

This walk will look at the rights of common, what this land was used for by the people of Tudor Southampton. Brickmakers, cowherds and the Court Leet are just some of the uses to which this ancient common was put.
