The Southampton Tudor Project: From Records to Revels

Inspired by the wealth of original documents in Southampton's archives, we want to shed light on a turbulent but largely unknown part of Southampton's history.

The Aims:

• 1. To enthuse and engage participants in a celebration of Southampton's Tudor past though learning and participation.

• 2. The recreate the town and people of Tudor Southampton in a virtual format that will be an on-going, learning, survey and research record of Southampton's Tudor heritage creating a legacy for future study and engagement.

• 3. To give volunteers the confidence and skills to become a new heritage champion.
